INSTRUCTIONS: Read Carefully

Please discuss application with your dental professional. The following is a general use guideline.

PREPARE THE DENTAL TRAY FOR YOUR MOUTH

Place the empty dental tray in your mouth and bite down very gently. If the dental tray is comfortable -- and your upper and lower front teeth are COVERED by the dental tray -- you are ready to use Oraparx® Professional. If you are having difficulties try the following suggestions:
  • If too big, cut ¼ inch off each end with scissors until it fits your mouth.
  • If too small, it's not a problem; the dental tray enlarges with use (see suggestion below).
  • Teeth not covered by dental tray. Apply Oraparx® Professional with a clean finger to areas not covered by the dental tray. Oraparx® Professional is an adhesive dentifrice.
BEGIN USE
  1. Unscrew the tube cap and remove the safety seal. Replace the tube cap.
  2. Squeeze Oraparx® Professional firmly into the groove on one side of the dental tray. Do not overfill.
  3. Turn the dental tray over and repeat so that both sides of the dental tray contain Oraparx® Professional.
  4. Place the dental tray in your mouth making sure your bottom and top teeth fit into the grooves of the dental tray. Apply Oraparx® Professional with a clean finger to areas not covered by the dental tray.
  5. Bite down gently. DO NOT bite through the dental tray.
  6. Leave the dental tray in your mouth for 5 to 10 minutes but no longer than 20 minutes.
  7. Use once every other day, one time per day or two times per day depending on your oral condition. More frequent use creates an overlapping additive effect.
AFTER AN ORAPARX® PROFESSIONAL TREATMENT

  1. Remove the dental tray and place in bowl to rinse.
  2. Spit out paste. Brush teeth to remove residual paste with water only.
  3. Rinse your mouth and the dental tray thoroughly. Use your CLAMSHELL to hold the dental tray as it dries.
  4. Set the dental tray aside to air dry or carefully squeeze-dry in a towel. CLAMSHELL does not close.
  5. Your dental tray has absorbed saliva and will have expanded in size. It will return to its original size as it air dries. Allow your dental tray to completely dry before your next treatment.

    TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS

  • Alternate the tray if it is not covering your posterior molars i.e. place to the left on first use, place to the right on second use, thus alternating placement with each use.
  • If the tray will not cover areas of your teeth, place the paste in those areas with a clean finger (product is adhesive and will work as long as the tray is in place.
  • If you can not use the tray for a full 10 minutes, simply use it for as long as it is comfortable.
  • Use Oraparx® Professional in the shower! Keeping it handy is an easy way to incorporate Oraparx® Professional into your normal routine and enhance your oral hygiene.
